Description
Manuscript letter from Capt O T Webber, Royal Engineers, written from Bloemfontein to his family in Kellyville, during the Boer War, 2 Feb 1901. Capt Webber talks of the thunder and dust storms they have been experiencing, and says that de Wet has murdered a peace envoy so it does not look likely that he will surrender. From a collection of letters and other papers from Capt Oswald Webber, Royal Engineers, to his family from 1895 to 1901. Associated with the Boer War (1899-1902).
