Description
Letter and typescript copy, 11 Aug 1895. Sent by N Booth of Folkestone to Mrs Dyneley regarding the death of her son, Lt Douglas Dyneley, Royal Welch Fusiliers, during the attack on the Redan on 8 Sep 1855, and the subsequent search for his body by her other son, Capt Edward Dyneley, Royal Artillery. Associated with the Siege of Sevastopol, Crimean War (1854-1856), 1854-1855.
