Handwritten signal from the Intelligence Officer to Maj Norton, the Officer Commanding the Medium Machine Gun Platoon, forbidding the entry of troops into the heavily mined high ground around Chipyong-Ni, 1950 (c). Relating to the Korean War. From 36 papers relating to Maj Geoffrey Gordon Norton (b 1927), Middlesex Regiment (Duke of Cambridge’s Own). Norton saw served in the Korean War 1950 and with the 1st Bn in British Guiana 1966.
