Sent to Mrs Isabella Spencer by Lt Col H S McClellan, Record Office, Gloucester Gate Buildings, Regents Park, in which the latter states that the British War Medal and the Victory Medal that would have been conferred upon Pte Spencer, Machine Gun Corps, had he lived, is being transmitted to Mrs Spencer. From a collection of items relating to Pte John Spencer, Royal Warwickshire Regiment and Machine Gun Corps, and his son Harold Charles Spencer, possibly Lt H C Spencer, Coldstream Guards. Associated with World War One, Western Front and World War Two.
