Pair of officer's collar badges, gilt metal, 1934-1936. Cast. The reverse bears two vertically placed copper loop fittings through which passes a brass split pin and the raised maker's name, 'WM Dowler and Sons Ltd/ Birmingham', and a vertical copper rod reinforcing the trunk of the tree. From a collection of 27 badges and buttons worn by Lt Col J Lyall, Royal West African Frontier Force.
