No 1 dress forage cap. From a Service dress uniform worn by Dame Mary Tyrwhitt, Women’s Royal Army Corps, 1950 (c). Dame Mary Tyrwhitt (1903-1997) was the last Director of the Auxiliary Territorial Service and first Director of the WRAC, 1949-1951.
