Letter, Oxford 6 Jun 1644. From Hyde and others to Col Edward Hopton announcing that Sgt Maj Pinchbeck has orders to take Lord Hopton’s and other forces to Abingdon. From a collection of photographs of 27 documents in Hereford City Library relating to Sir Richard Hopton and his son Sir Edward, knighted in 1604 and 1645 respectively. Associated with the English Civil War (1642-1649).
