Description
Newspaper cutting: The Statesman, 24 May 1935. Announcing the award of the MC to Rendall. From a collection of papers associated with 2/Lt John Rendall, Lt Antony Rendall and Capt Godfrey Meynell, 1901-1935. He was killed in action while leading C Coy, Queen Victoria’s Own Guides, 12 Frontier Force Reg in the attack on Hill 4080, near Wucha Jawar during the Mohmand Expedition in 1935.
