Description
Letter, in unknown hand, to Gen Sir Galbraith Lowry-Cole, providing observations on the operation of Army General Hospitals in the Mediterranean, dated 20 April 1809. Author was apparently the Head of the Medical Department in the Mediterranean from 1801 until the time of writing. From a collection of papers relating to Gen Sir Galbraith Lowry Cole. Associated with the Peninsular War (1808-1814) and the Napoleonic Wars, Waterloo (1815).
