Letter to FM Lord Fitzroy Somerset, 1st Baron Raglan, Commander in Chief, from Baron Hess, Commander of the Austrian troops, and Raglan's reply, 28 June and 12 Jul 1854. Informing Raglan that after the evacuation of the Russians, the Austrian troops moved in to aid the Turks in reestablishing their authority. Written in French. Associated with the Crimean War (1854-1856).
