Description
Printed road map of northeastern France and Belgium, 1916 (c). From a collection of papers associated with Capt Alan John Bowles, 1910-1916. Capt Bowles served with the Princess Charlotte of Wales's (Royal Berkshire Regiment) until he was killed in action at La Boiselle, near Albert, on 10 Apr 1916 while serving with the 1st Battalion. Associated with World War One, Western Front (1914-1918).
