Description
Army and Navy Pocket Diary and Almanac for 1917 No 1. Used by Bradfield during his service in Iraq, mostly ferrying the injured out of Baghdad. Includes casualty figures. Between 14 June and 22 July he was possibly on leave in India. From the papers of Lt Gen Sir Ernest William Charles Bradfield (1880-1963), Indian Medical Service, 1899-1944. Associated with World War One, Mesopotamia (1914-1918).
