Description
Photograph: Wally Langford and Gnr Kelly wash up Hill 355 - place of bitter conflict in 1951. King’s Own Shropshire Light Infantry Company took it. US Battalion held it then Chinese took it again. US troops retreated leaving gear. One of a collection of copy photographs taken by John Whitehouse, 15 Division Locating Battery, Royal Artillery, Korea, 1951.
