One of four pages of a copy letter from Maj Gen Sir George Nugent to Gordon, relating to the delay in Sir Eyre Coote’s assuming command, and plans to have the captive Brigadiers exchanged for French prisoners, Jamaica, 9 Feb 1806. From a collection of miscellaneous correspondence relating to the Jamaica, Vol 2, 1803-1805. Associated with Maj Gen Sir George Nugent.
