Manuscript letter from Sir Henry Bulwer, Lt Gov of Natal, to Brig Gen Charles Knight Pearson, dated 21 June 1879, offering official thanks and appreciation for his role in Natal during his posting there. Bound with blue silk. From papers and maps relating to the service in South Africa of Col Charles Knight Pearson prior to and during the Zulu War (1879).
