Manuscript letter from an unknown source to Capt William Lee, later Lieutenant Colonel, at Hartwell, Aylesbury, 30 Oct 1790. The letter discusses the change in uniform for the regiment, as the old ones were intended for use by the 16th (or The Queen’s) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons going to America. Also informs him what clothing he has ordered for him. From a collection of 112 letters and envelopes addressed to Lt Col William Lee, 5th Baronet, 16th (or The Queen’s) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons, 1749-1810. Also includes photocopies of other letters from the same correspondence.
