Description
A patrol car operating in the Middle East during the Sinai and Palestine Campaign. Photograph from an album of 516 photographs; first of three photograph albums compiled by Brig John Gilbert Browne (b 1879), 1916-1919; associated with 14th (King's) Hussars, Mediterranean Expeditionary Force and Egyptian Expeditionary Force. possibly a Model T Ford of the 1st Australian Light Car Patrol, with four men, two wearing slouch hats and two wearing Foreign Service helmets suggesting they may be two Australians and two British soldiers. Associated with World War One, Egypt and Palestine (1914-1918).
