Manuscript letter with typed transcript from Cornet C Stone to Lt William Lee, later Lieutenant Colonel, 16th (or The Queen’s) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons in Thetford, Norfolk, 1 Jan 1791. The letter hopes he can make a more sober living after Harcourt has left and informs Lee he will send the brace of turkeys and pheasants to Thetford when he wants them. From a collection of 112 letters and envelopes addressed to Lt Col William Lee, 5th Baronet, 16th (or The Queen’s) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons, 1749-1810. Also includes photocopies of other letters from the same correspondence.
