Envelope associated with a letter from Dr Alexander Cumming at Scutari to Dr John Hall, Inspector General of Hospitals Army of the East, 28 Jul 1855. Cumming refers to the sick of the Sardinian and Turkish armies, and the controversial pamphlet, ‘Whom shall we hang?’. From a collection of correspondence received by Sir John Hall, Inspector General of Hospitals in Crimea, 1854-1856. Associated with the Crimean War (1854-1856).
