Typescript copy of a letter from Director of Supplies, War Office, complaining that ‘draught horses of the Shire or Clydesdale Type are not receiving the full authorised ration’, forwarded to SY by Supply Officer, EMB, 3 Nov 1914; from papers, 1882-1953, of Col Frederick Weston Jarvis, Suffolk Yeomanry 1882-1923, and South African Constabulary 1902-1907.
