Description
Photograph showing a uniformed, smiling Lt W C Carter, standing posed with hands in pocket and wearing jodhpurs, 1917-1918 (c). A wooden barrack hut with felted roof stands to the left, protected with a rough wall of sandbags. A hedgerow and group of trees is behind the hut. From an album containing 96 photographs relating to Lt William Charles Carter who served in the Artists’ Rifles The London Regiment from 1913 and 13 Sqn Royal Flying Corps 1917-1918.
