Typed transcript of a manuscript letter, 30 May 1814. Sent by Lt William Henry Hare, 51st (2nd Yorkshire, West Riding) Regiment of Foot (Light Infantry) to his wife Mary from Bordeaux. Contains some anecdotes about life in Bordeaux. From a collection of manuscripts letters with transcripts of Maj William Henry Hare, 51st (2nd Yorkshire, West Riding) Regiment of Foot (Light Infantry), 1813-1853.
