Description
Envelope associated with a letter from Dr Alexander Cumming at Scutari to Dr John Hall, Inspector General of Hospitals Army of the East, 10 Aug 1855. The system will not work until civil practitioners are brought under strict military control. ‘I really cannot bear up much longer under all this worry’. From a collection of correspondence received by Sir John Hall, Inspector General of Hospitals in Crimea, 1854-1856. Associated with the Crimean War (1854-1856).
