Crupper, 1847-1857. Associated with Maj Thomas Everard Hutton, 4th (Queen's Own) Light Dragoons, Battle of Balaklava, Crimean War (1854-1856). A brass boss within a brass scalloped border extending from which are two straps of brown leather.
