Description
Copy manuscript letter from the Commander in Chief, Horse Guards, to Edward Augustus, the Duke of Kent and Strathern, 14 Nov 1812. Stating the Commander in Chief cannot recommend the appropriation of Lt Niels Falck's commission, as he left no widow or orphans. From a collection of papers relating to the service and death of Mrs Falck's son, Lt Niels Falck at the Battle of Salamanca, Peninsular War (1808-1814), 22 July 1812.
