Lt Henry Curtis Gallup's diary, of the period 29 Apr-8 May 1918, describing his journey from Yozgad to Afion-Kara-Hissar.
With 19 other officers, Gallup left Yozgad on 29 April and travelled by cart and train to Afion-Kara-Hissar, reaching Angora on 4 May where they spent two days in clean airy barracks. They reached Afion-Kara-Hissar on the 7th, and were placed in the town camp with British, Indian, French, and Russian prisoners.
