Larger copy of a British Official photograph of Pte Britland, left, and Pte Lyon advancing on Myitson village in Burma, after crossing the River Schweli, February 1945 Used in newspaper cutting. From a collection of service documents which belonged to Pte Vernon Britland, originally with the Royal Sussex Regiment, and from 1942-1945, with the Buffs (Royal East Kent Regiment) in Burma. Associated with World War Two, Far East (1941-1945).
