Description
Sixty Years in the Kashmir Mission Hospital of the Church Missionary Society. Illustrated booklet by Ernest F Nere, Mysore, 1942. Many servicemen stationed on the North West Frontier made use of the hospital. From papers associated with Maj Eric Peace Hall, who has served with the Hampshire Regiment and Corps of Royal Engineers during World War One At the outbreak of World War Two he was called up, and, after a brief refresher course, was appointed Garrison Engineer, Khyber, based at Jamrud.
