Chapter 18. Regimental Duty with 4th Bn 6th Rajputana Rifles (Outram's) 1933-34 - joined as Coy Commander at Mhow Mar 1933-Jul embarked on S.S. "Rawalpind" for home. Married in London 19 Aug 1933, honeymoon in Scotland. Sailed on P & O "Muldavia", back with the Regt Oct. Served as Staff Captain at Southern Command Manoeuvres Nov-Dec at Deolali.

Chapter 19. Regimental Duty with 4th Bn 6th Rajputana Rifles at Wana, Southern Waziristan 1934. Left in October for Wana; training, building barracks, etc. Late Nov 4-day column to Tiarzha as Bde

Intelligence Officer. Left for Staff College Quetta mid-Jan 1935.
