Pair of rank badges, embroidered, 1942 (c). Associated with Corps of Royal Engineers. Two white and brown embroidered four-pointed stars on a blue cloth backing sewn on to a khaki drill slip-on strap which also bears the black embroidered letters, 'R.E.' at the shoulder end. From a collection of thirteen badges worn or owned by D P Bennet, Royal Engineers and Royal Bombay Sappers and Miners, 1942-1947.
