Description
Six officer's buttons, gilt metal, 1934-1936. Half-domed, bearing the following design in relief: a palm tree upon a ground above the letters, 'R.W.A.F.F.' The reverse bears the impressed maker's name, 'WM Dowler & Sons Ltd/ Birmingham' and a fixed shank. From a collection of 27 badges and buttons worn by Lt Col J Lyall, Royal West African Frontier Force.
