Description
Officer’s overalls, 56th Punjabi Rifles (Frontier Force), worn by Lt Col H Champion de Crespigny, 1912 (c). Drab cavalry twill with drab mohair lace, black velvet stripe and brown leather footstraps with blackened brass single-prong buckle. Drab cotton binding. Six tin flat buttons at waist, the two at centre back on inside, six at fly.
