Each recruit brings peace nearer. Chromolithograph recruiting poster, 1915 (c). Printed by Andrew Reid & Co., Ltd, 50, Grey St, Newcastle-on-Tyne, 1915 (c). Published by The Parliamentary Recruiting Committee, London, poster no. 86, 1915 (c). Shows a view of a skyline at night with a domed building in the centre, not St Paul’s Cathedral, possibly Newcastle-on-Tyne; with flags left and right; the unusual shape may indicate that it was for use in a bus.
