From a collection of original papers and correspondence relating to the post-Peninsular War career in Portugal of Maj Gen Sir John Campbell, 1814-1862. Deals mainly with Campbell’s involvement in the events of the Portuguese Civil War in 1832-1833. Associated with the Peninsular War (1808-1814) and Portuguese Civil War.
