He describes the movements of the 10th Brigade and the Battalion, especially at Harman’s Nek.
From a collection of eleven letters written by 3025 Pte G Frederick Evans and two other unidentified members of the 2nd Bn Middlesex Regiment during the Boer War, and especially relate to the Battle of Spion Kop, 1900.
The soldier named ‘Charlie’ is possibly the compiler of the collection.
