Letter from Col J Gurwood, to the Royal United Services Council, dated Lowndes Road, London, 19 Dec 1839. 
In this letter Gurwood informs the Council that he has not had the opportunity to pass on their request to the Duke of Wellington that he give permission for the disinterment of the skeleton of his horse Copenhagen, which carried him at the Battle of Waterloo, Napoleonic Wars (1815).
