Letter from Major Edward Lake to Wilkie, Dhumsalla, 28th July 1858, asking for a recommendation for Balhussan Nussur. News of a conspiracy detected in the 10th Punjab Native Infantry at Dira Ismait Khai, also 3rd Punjab Native Infantry. Includes the original letter and a typescript copy of the letter. From correspondence and other papers of Colonel David Wilkie, 4th Bengal Native Infantry, mostly relating to the Indian Mutiny (1857-1859).
