Manuscript letter, dated Horfield, 17 Jun 1813, sent to Lt William Henry Hare, 51st (2nd Yorkshire, West Riding) Regiment of Foot (Light Infantry) by Richard Lambert. Includes two folds added by Hare's brother, Henry. Letter mostly refers to mutual friends and social events. Contains some bidirectional text and therefore difficult to read. From a collection of manuscripts letters with transcripts of Maj William Henry Hare, 51st (2nd Yorkshire, West Riding) Regiment of Foot (Light Infantry), 1813-1853.
