The remains of a bridge at Buner after the Kangra Earthquake, 1905. Photograph, India, 1905. From an album page captioned, ‘Ruins of Buner Bridge. June 1905’. The remains of a bridge at Buner, east of Kangra. The 1st Sappers and Miners worked on the construction of a replacement suspension bridge across the nullah, or ravine at Buner. One of 193 photographs from an album compiled by Lt Col George Frederick Joseph Paterson, 34th Sikh Pioneers, 1901 (c)-1937. Associated with the Kangra Earthquake (1905).
