Manuscript letter from Capt O T Webber, Royal Engineers, written from Bloemfontein to his family in Kellyville, during the Boer War, 8 Jun 1901.
Capt Webber has been on a couple of trips and says that the surroundings are a complete wilderness compared to last year. If the Boers had given up they would have had homes to go back to but now many homes have been burnt.
