Description
Letter to Lt Dugmore from Michael Moses at Masindi, 20 and 22 Jan 1898. Details some desertion and fighting amongst factions at and around Masindi. From a collection of 116 letters and papers relating to Lt William Francis Brougham Radcliffe Dugmore (1868-1917) during the Uganda Mutiny, November 1896-January 1899. Collected by W Lloyd-Jones, author of ‘KAR: being an unofficial account of the origins and activities of the King’s African Rifles’, 1920s.
