Photograph of HMS Colombo at sea during a Combined Exercise, probably in the Indian Ocean, 1925 (c). The ship was a C-class light cruiser built for the Royal Navy during World War I. Image taken by Capt Cecil Wotton Toovey MC, 9th Battalion Middlesex Regiment attached to the 5/1st Punjab Regiment. Capt Toovey attended the Staff College at Quetta from 1924 to 1926 and they visited this part of India for a Combined Exercise during their training.
