Photograph of L/Cpl R N Eason-Gibson, Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, in bed during his evacuation home from Malaya on board a Comet in 1957. He had been badly burned when a petrol tank on one of the armoured cars he was charged with maintainng exploded. From a CD copy of 78 album photographs taken by L/Cpl R N Eason-Gibson, Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, during his National Service in Malaya, 1955-1957, with ‘A’ Squadron 15/19th Kings Royal Hussars.
