Manuscript letter from George Lee at Hillingdon to his brother Lt William Lee, later Lieutenant Colonel, 16th (or The Queen’s) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons in Thetford, Norfolk, 18 Jan 1792 (c). The letter discusses his finances and tells him he was asked about the legacy that William had used as security for a loan, he also discusses his mail having been opened by a third party. From a collection of 112 letters and envelopes addressed to Lt Col William Lee, 5th Baronet, 16th (or The Queen’s) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons, 1749-1810. Also includes photocopies of other letters from the same correspondence.
