Description
Manuscript letter from Capt O T Webber, Royal Engineers, written from Bloemfontein to his family in Kellyville, during the Boer War, 25 Aug 1901. Capt Webber says some have surrendered as a result of Kitchener's proclamation but Webber remains despondent. From a collection of letters and other papers from Capt Oswald Webber, Royal Engineers, to his family from 1895 to 1901. Associated with the Boer War (1899-1902).
