White wool and cotton mixture. Each leg gathered into waistband, Waistband 3 5/8 inches in width at centre front and 2 inches in width at centre back. At centre back waistband two pairs of worked eyelets through which passes a lace of 1/4 inch wide white cotton tape. Centre front waist band fastened with two flat pearl, double hole buttons each 5/8 inch in diameter, with corresponding buttonholes. Front below waistband open to crutch, the opening faced on inside with 1 1/8 inches wide self fabric. On each upper edge side of waistband a loop of white cotton tape 5/8 inch by 7 3/4 inches divided vertically, centrally into two.
