From a collection of accounts, letters and diaries of Maj John Campbell (later Sir John) whilst serving in the Peninsular War, 1811-1814. Chiefly relate to his Peninsular War service as a Lieutenant Colonel with the Portuguese cavalry. Associated with the Battle of Nive, Peninsular War (1808-1814) 1813.
