Description
Manuscript letter, 6 Nov 1810. From Cathcart at Salten Hall to the Quartermaster-General, Horse Guards. Further to his report and the visit of a Commissioner, Cathcart has heard that French prisoners are already on their way to Scotland and he has nowhere to accommodate them. From a collection of 14 manuscript letters of Gen Lord William Cathcart, 1803-1812. Associated with the Napoleonic Wars (1803-1815).
