Description
Letter from Pte Jack Sadler to his brother Tom Sadler, dated 10 Dec 1915. He reports that official issue cigarettes are bad and that ‘We go to the trenches on Monday which are in a rotten condition’. Partly censored. Associated with D Coy 15th Warwickshire Regiment, World War One, Western Front (1914-1918). Sadler’s family lived in Birmingham and in Staffordshire, and were involved in the manufacturing industry.
