Description
Pattern 1868 lance; with issue marks for the 21st Lancers whose monogram is inscribed on the shoe; 1896 (c) - 1912 (c) Made by the Royal Small Arms Factory, Enfield. Bamboo shaft with a three edged head, buff leather sling, calf skin leather protector (post 1883), brass loop to leather carbine-protecting rapping, approved 1883. With small ‘D’ ring on the leather protector.
